S-Series
FASTER's ColdFAST S series of ultra-low temperature freezers are used for samples that are subject to stringent requirements for long-term refrigeration, such as viruses, pathogenic substances, red and white blood cells, skin and bone samples, bacteria, sperm and other biological materials, oceanic products, electronic devices and special substances. These freezers are ideal for long-term storage and meet the needs of facilities such as hospitals, disease prevention and control centres, scientific research institutes, biomedical facilities, farms, fishing companies, and the electronics and chemical industries.
Effective door seals to minimise cold loss: The use of multiple door seals significantly reduces the loss of cold air from the compartments. Even when compartments are open during normal operation, the impact on compartment temperatures remains low.
High-performance and reliable cooling fans for energy efficiency: Our highly efficient and extremely reliable cooling fans not only enable energy savings, but also ensure safety in long-term storage through precise temperature control at the compressors. By using the dual cooling cascade system, separate evaporator, compound heat exchanger, optimised break condensation and separation system as well as a high-performance thermal insulation system, the freezer's energy consumption can be reduced by up to 40 %.
Whisper-quiet operation for pleasant surroundings: Thanks to the low-noise direct cooling circuit, the suspension frame and the sound-insulating compartment, the overall noise level of the freezer is significantly reduced. In the S-series, the noise level is only 44 to 46 decibels (Db(A)).
Comprehensive alarm functions for maximum safety: Our units offer multiple alarm functions, including over-temperature alarm, under-temperature alarm, sensor fault, battery discharge, high ambient temperature and power failure, to ensure product and equipment safety.
Fast recovery time: With an industry-leading recovery time of only 30 minutes with an open door of 1 minute, we offer you optimal efficiency.

Our ultra-low temperature freezers ensure impressive cooling performance with temperatures as low as -86°C in the cooling compartment and remarkable accuracy within a 5°C range. This allows for highly reliable storage of your valuable samples.
Flexibility in operating voltage
Our units feature a wide operating voltage range from 200V to 240V, allowing you to use them safely even in regions with unstable power supplies. This means your samples remain protected even under demanding conditions.
Precise temperature management and outstanding quality
Our advanced microprocessor control system allows precise temperature control in the range of -40°C to -86°C in precise 1°C increments. In addition, our freezer systems are designed and manufactured according to best practice and using high-quality components.
Optimised cooling technology and reliable testing
Thanks to EBM Papst's ventilation technology, our freezers ensure optimal air circulation. Each model undergoes rigorous reliability testing, including an ageing test on the control electronics at 85°C and 85% relative humidity, to ensure the highest quality and reliability.

Comprehensive data recording and long-term storage
Operating data of system settings, alarm data and temperature data can be recorded every 5 minutes and stored for up to 10 years. This provides a long-term and effective record of the product's operating status.

Our units are suitable for use in a wide temperature range from 16°C up to 32°C to operate reliably in a variety of environmental conditions.
Dual compressor for increased safety
A unique dual compressor system ensures additional protection for your samples. In the event of a main compressor failure, the additional compressor can continue to cool and protect stored samples at a temperature of -70ºC.
Real-time monitoring of voltage and ambient temperature
Input voltage and ambient temperature are displayed simultaneously for easy monitoring of ambient conditions.
Maximum security through locking mechanisms
A lockable door handle and/or individual keys prevent unauthorised access to your valuable samples. In addition, the option of attaching an extra padlock provides an extra dose of security.
CO2 security system for extra protection
Our units are equipped with a CO2 safety system, including controller, alarm backup and CO2 valve, to ensure maximum safety for your samples and equipment.

Circular chart recorder: Precise temperature recording:
The circular chart recorder is permanently integrated into the control panel and enables precise temperature recording. Thanks to the standard battery power supply, permanent operation is guaranteed even without mains connection. The exchangeable diagram charts are optionally designed for 24 hours or 7 days. The actual temperature is written on the diagram disc by means of a black fibre pen. Accurate temperature measurement in the interior is thus guaranteed.
Storage Racks:
Ergonomic storage solution: Optionally available storage racks offer an ergonomically designed solution for easy storage of your samples. The racks are available in different sizes and allow for optimal organisation.
CO2 backup system:
